That will give us temperatures that just get into the teens for daytime high temperatures and overnight lows in the single digits to below zero. Another mass of arctic air rides into the area. Wednesday through Friday temperatures are exceptionally cold. Then we will see three days of brutally cold temps. With daytime high temperatures in sunshine getting above the freezing mark to near 40° for most of the Tri-State area. While snow is falling over much of the Lower Peninsula, spots in southwest and southeast Michigan are slated to see the highest inch counts when it comes to accumulation. The extended outlook we have temperatures rebounding to allow some melting on Monday and Tuesday. Daytime high temperatures will struggle just to get up into the teens even with sunshine. For Sunday we do expect to see the sun breakout but still bitterly cold. Temperatures will plummet, zero in the Keokuk area and temperatures will be in the single digits for most of the region along with gusty wind bringing wind chill values down around 15 below zero. 1 to 3 inches would be the max I believe that we would see.
